A proper website.
Built by the person you talk to.

For Perth trades, salons, cafes and small businesses that need a site that brings in calls, bookings or orders. You deal with me directly and know the price, the scope and what you will own before production starts. The domain is registered in your name, and the written scope lists the site materials, accounts and access handed over at completion.

Sound familiar?

Turn a local search
into a clear next step.

THE SEARCH

Someone nearby is looking for what you do.

They found three businesses tonight. The first job is making sure yours can be one of them.

THE LEAK

Being found is not enough if the next step is buried.

A slow page, unclear offer, missing price or hidden phone number gives a ready buyer a reason to leave.

THE FIX

Make the call, booking or order the obvious next move.

The site is built around that action, then backed by clear scope, ownership and handover terms.

Built around the decision

What does your customer need to do next?

Electrician or trade business

Tap to call, a useful quote form and clear service areas.

Salon or appointment business

Services, prices and a direct route to the booking calendar.

Cafe or local venue

Menu, opening hours, directions and the details people check before visiting.

How it works

Five steps.
No meetings that should have been emails.

  1. 01

    Send the basics.

Tell me your business name and what you need. That's enough to start.

  2. 02

    Talk it through.

A short call or email exchange about what the site has to do.

  3. 03

    Approve the written scope.

You get the scope and total price in writing. Production starts when you accept it. The scope sets the payment steps.

  4. 04

    See the design.

The Local One-Pager includes one design round. Business and Booking sites include three. Changes stay inside the written scope.

  5. 05

    Review, hand over, launch.

Changes stay inside the scope. At handover you get the domain in your name, the agreed accounts and the site materials. Ongoing care is optional.

What you can approve

Scope first. Then a visible direction.

These examples come from the fictional Westward Crumb café demo. They show the level of clarity a real project should reach before a finished site is treated as approved.

Prices are in AUD. Your written quote will show the total payable, including any applicable GST, before you accept it. Care plans have a three-month minimum, then run month to month. After the minimum you can cancel and the agreed site materials stay yours. Enquiring does not charge a card. The written scope sets the payment steps.

Essential, $129 a month. Hosting, SSL, security, daily backups and up to five small content changes a month, plus uptime monitoring and an email reply within one working day. A small change is swapping text, photos, prices or hours, not a new page or feature.

Growth, $199 a month. Everything in Essential, plus two hours of changes a month, support for your booking or ordering system, monthly Google Business Profile care and a quarterly Search Console report. A new section, page content or form change can use those hours.

Changes outside a care plan: $120 an hour, one-hour minimum, quoted in writing first. Bigger jobs such as extra pages, a redesign or a new feature are quoted in writing at a fixed price or the hourly rate.

Both plans: three-month minimum, then month to month. Cancel after that and give 14 days' notice. The current month is not refunded, and the agreed site materials stay yours.

Payment and commitment. Enquiring does not start a paid project. I provide the written scope, total price and payment steps before production starts. You decide whether to accept them. Care-plan fees apply only when that option is selected.

Capacity: I take on up to ten website builds a month so each one gets my attention.

Written protections before work starts

You pay nothing until you have accepted the written scope.

Anything in the scope that does not work as written is fixed free for 14 days after handover.

If I cannot deliver what the scope says, you do not pay the final 50 per cent, and your deposit is refunded less any third-party costs bought for you and listed in the scope.

Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply, and nothing here limits them.

Before you choose a website provider

Compare the handover,
not only the homepage.

A DIY builder, a freelancer, a studio and Digital Rush AI can all be the right choice for different jobs. A polished screen alone does not tell you what is included, who owns each account, how enquiries are delivered or what happens after launch. Use the same questions below with every option, including this one, before you commit.

01 / FIT

Pick the route that matches the job.

DIY can suit a simple site you will maintain, an agency can suit a programme that needs several specialists, and a one-person build can suit a business that wants one decision-maker from first message to handover.

02 / ASK

Ask every provider, including me, to put these in writing.

CheckAsk to seeWhy it matters
Scope and exclusions

The agreed pages, features, content responsibilities, integrations, revision scope and anything explicitly outside the price.

Two similar-looking quotes may cover very different amounts of work.

Ownership and access

Who controls the domain, hosting, source, analytics and business accounts, plus what is handed over if the relationship ends.

Access and exit terms are easier to settle before launch than after it.

Mobile and accessibility checks

Supported phone widths, keyboard behaviour, readable type, visible focus, reduced-motion handling and how overflow is checked.

A desktop approval does not prove the phone experience is usable.

Enquiry delivery

Where each submission goes, what the buyer sees, how delivery failure appears and who owns the follow-up record.

A form is only useful when the complete handoff is tested and observable.

Search foundations

Page titles, canonical URLs, sitemap and indexability, owned favicon and structured business identity, without a ranking guarantee.

Search engines need consistent technical and business-identity signals.

Privacy and security

What data is collected, which providers receive it, how forms are protected, who has access and how updates and backups are handled.

The controls should match the real data and integrations in the build.

Support and changes

What ongoing support includes, what counts as a separate change, response ownership, fees and the exit process.

A monthly fee should name the service it actually buys.

Payment and acceptance

Payment milestones, acceptance criteria, cancellation terms and the process for approving work outside the original scope.

Both sides should know what starts the work and what completes it.

Use the same checklist on Digital Rush AI.

You should receive clear answers here too. If the scope, ownership, payment or support terms do not make sense, ask before approving them. If another option answers your needs better, choose it. The goal is a website you understand and can operate, not winning a comparison table.

03 / HANDOVER

Handover is part of the build.

Handover should cover ownership, account access, where forms deliver, the approved content and what support includes.

DIY PATH

DIY can be a sensible route.

If the site is simple and you want to own the learning, start with the checklist above. Keep the domain in your own account, write down where forms deliver, test the site on a real phone and keep a record of every service connected to it.

FINISHING SERVICE · $220 DIAGNOSTIC

Need a second set of eyes on an unfinished build?

A partially built Lovable, Wix or Squarespace site starts with a $220 diagnostic. You receive a written inventory of the current build, material gaps and a fixed quote for any proposed completion work. The diagnostic fee is credited only if you accept that quoted work. Completion projects have an indicative range of $890 to $1,800 after inspection; the written quote controls, and a rebuild may be recommended when it is the clearer option.

What you won't get

Just as important
as what you will.

  • 01

No lock-in on the build. The care plan has a three-month minimum, then runs month to month. If you leave, your domain, approved content and agreed code export stay yours.

  • 02

No unclear ownership. The domain is registered in your name and that is written into the scope.

  • 03

No ranking promise. You get sound search setup, not a guaranteed position.

  • 04

No handoffs. You work with me from the first message to handover.

  • 05

No open-ended retainer. Inclusions, exclusions and any extra costs are written down before you approve.

  • 06

No invented customer story. Design and copy start from your real business material.

The person building it.

I'm Karan. I'm in Perth and I build every site under this offer myself. You deal with me from the first message to handover. I started this offer for local businesses that want a clear, useful website without an agency maze or an open-ended build. You approve the important decisions in writing, and the domain and agreed site materials are handed over at completion.

Before you enquire

Straight answers.
A clear path from first message to handover.

01Who owns the website and domain?+

The domain is registered in your name. At completion, I hand over the site materials, accounts and access listed in your written scope. A Lovable project move is not promised unless it has been tested for your setup.

02How long does a build take?+

A Local One-Pager, up to two pages, is usually live about a week after the written scope is accepted and your content is in. Business and Booking sites take longer; the scope gives the date.

03Do I have to write anything?+

No. I draft from the business material you approve and one conversation. You review and correct it instead of starting with a blank page.

04What happens if I cancel the care plan?+

After the three-month minimum, you can cancel with 14 days' notice. The current month is not refunded. The domain and agreed site materials stay yours. I provide the agreed export and a written migration plan; any new hosting subscription or migration work is confirmed before it starts.

05Where is the site hosted?+

While a care plan is active, the site is managed in Digital Rush AI's Lovable workspace and the plan covers that hosting. You own the domain. If you leave, I provide the agreed code and content export plus a written migration plan. Any new platform subscription or migration work is confirmed with you first.

06My current site is broken. Rebuild or fix?+

Small faults such as an SSL warning, a dead link or wrong hours can be quoted after a quick review. Taking over a whole unfinished site starts with the $220 diagnostic so you get a written assessment and a real quote. If a rebuild is cheaper, I say so.

07Can you finish a site I started on Lovable or Wix?+

Yes. It starts with a $220 diagnostic: a written rundown of what works, what is missing and a fixed quote to finish it. The $220 comes off the bill if you go ahead. Most finish jobs land between $890 and $1,800. If a fresh build is cheaper, I say so.

08Why is the care-plan setup cheaper?+

Because the monthly plan keeps the site hosted, backed up and updated, and that ongoing relationship is worth a lower setup fee. Over the first three months the care option costs more than the one-off build; the table shows both totals.

09Do you guarantee I'll rank on Google?+

No, and nobody can. I set the site up properly so it can be found for your name and relevant local searches, and I set up the agreed Google Business Profile links correctly.
